Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy calls for special action plan on drought relief, groundwater conservation

Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan for drought relief and groundwater conservation, with a special focus on restoring declining groundwater levels across Telangana. Chairing a review meeting at the Dr B R Ambedkar State Secretariat, the Minister said adequate funds would be allocated for groundwater conservation and additional financial assistance would be provided if necessary.
