Telangana CS asks departments to expedite release of central funds

Hyderabad, Oct 24 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Saturday directed departmental Secretaries to expedite the release of funds due to the State under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) by clearing pending formalities, completing compliance requirements and strengthening coordination with the Centre. At a review meeting with senior officials at the Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat here, the Chief Secretary assessed the status of central assistance, onboarding requirements, expenditure reporting and closure of Single Nodal Agency (SNA) accounts, which are among the procedural requirements for the release of funds.
