AP: Govt. releases Rs 160 Cr. for maintenance of canals, reservoirs

Vijayawada, Sep 28 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government has released Rs 160 crore for the maintenance of canals, reservoirs and drains. Informing this to the media here on Monday, Minister for Water Resources Development Nimmala Ramanaidu said that the government had released Rs 160 crore for the maintenance of canals, reservoirs and drains which were neglected by the erstwhile YSRCP regime. The Naidu headed government is taking up repairs and maintenance works of reservoirs, canals and drains to utilize the water resources properly.
