AP: One killed, another injured in firecracker unit explosion

Guntur, Spt 19 (UNI) One person was killed and another sustained grievous burn injuries after a fire broke out and triggered an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Boppudi village of Chilakaluripet mandal in the erstwhile Guntur district in the early hours of Saturday. According to police, firecrackers were being manufactured at the KSS Fireworks unit, where a large quantity of inflammable materials were reportedly stored ahead of the upcoming Deepavali festival.
