HP: Chief Minister to provide Rs 6.10 crore to workers on Diwali

Hamirpur, Nov 5 (UNI) On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board is set to provide financial assistance totaling over Rs 6.10 crore to 1,444 registered worker families across the state. On November 6, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will transfer these funds directly into the bank accounts of the workers under various welfare schemes of the Board, said Nardev Singh Thakur, the chairman of Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
