Panchkula, Oct 9 (UNI) Haryana Police has launched a statewide initiative to counter the glorification of gangsters, organised crime and gun culture. As part of this drive, the force has issued a detailed nine-point advisory to print, electronic and digital media organisations, warning that sensational coverage and the portrayal of criminals as celebrities risk encouraging young people to adopt criminal lifestyles while bolstering the influence of organised crime networks.
