IMD warns of hailstorms, 60 kmph winds in Punjab, Haryana on Oct 14-15

Panchkula, Oct 12 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today warned of isolated hailstorms, thunderstorms and strong winds gusting up to 60 kmph across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on October 14 and 15, with fairly widespread to widespread rainfall forecast over the region during the two days. According to the IMD's evening weather bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and winds reaching 40-50 kmph, gusting to 60 kmph, are likely at isolated places across the region from October 13 to 15.
