UP: Ganga Aarti, long-life wishes for Modi on 25 years of public life

Varanasi, Oct 7 (UNI) To mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life and governance, an aarti of Mother Ganga was performed at the Samne Ghat on Wednesday as part of the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan", praying for his good health and long life.
At the event organized by Namami Gange, Mother Ganga was anointed with milk, and a special prayer was offered. During the event, blessings were sought from Baba Shri Kashi Vishwanath and Mother Ganga for Prime Minister Modi's 25 years of public service, national welfare, and governance. Organised by Rajesh Shukla, coordinator of the Namami Gange Kashi region and the Municipal Corporation's Swachhata Brand Ambassador, the event commemorated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years of public life and service amid chanting of mantras, holding the national flag and a photo of PM.
The Ganga bank was also cleaned during the event, and people were urged to join the Prime Minister's call to "incorporate cleanliness into our culture." Rajesh Shukla stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25-year journey in public life, from Chief Minister of Gujarat to Prime Minister of the country, has been marked by good governance, development, national security, and public welfare. He noted that during this period, significant initiatives include the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Jan Dhan Yojana, digital payments, the Swachh Bharat Mission, constitutional changes related to Article 370, the law on triple talaq, the Goods and Services Tax (GST), national security, and the surgical strike and air strike against terrorism.
He also listed the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the redevelopment and beautification of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the launch of International Yoga Day, India's role as the voice of the global South, and the strengthening of the country's diplomatic and economic position as key achievements during this period.
