Strict action will be taken for negligence in grievance redressal: CM Yogi
Gorakhpur, Sep 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met people from various districts during the regular public service initiative 'Janata Darshan' at Gorakhnath Temple, heard their grievances, reviewed their applications and personally took note of the concerns raised by the visitors.
He heard their problems and directed the officials to resolve public grievances promptly and sensitively. Any laxity or negligence in this regard will lead to accountability being fixed and strict action being taken against the concerned person. Resolving public grievances is a priority of the government. Every grievance should be redressed in a qualitative, transparent and satisfactory manner.
At the Janata Darshan organised in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath Temple premises, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself went to the people seated on chairs and heard their problems one by one. He met around 150 people and assured them, saying, "Do not worry, the resolution of the problem will be ensured." He referred all the applications to the officials and directed them for prompt redressal.
The CM told the officials that no one should face injustice. Every victim should be treated with sensitivity and provided assistance. He also directed the officials that those illegally occupying anyone's land and those evicting the vulnerable should not be spared under any circumstances. Strict legal action should be taken against them. Several people had also come to the Janata Darshan seeking financial assistance for treatment.
CM Yogi handed over their applications to the officials and directed that the process of preparing treatment-related estimates be completed at the earliest and made available to the government. The government will provide full assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. During his stay at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi Adityanath also went to the temple's cowshed on Tuesday morning and performed Go Seva.
He affectionately petted the cows, cattle and Nandi, fed them jaggery, and directed the cowshed workers to ensure proper care of the cattle.
