Shimla-Bilaspur-Dharamshala Highway Closed; NHAI and Police Issue Advisory: Road Subsidence at Khalota (Namhol); Traffic Diverted for Repairs; Alternative Routes Announced

Hamirpur(HP), Oct 27 (UNI) The Shimla-Bilaspur-Dharamshala National Highway, which connects the capital of Himachal Pradesh to nine districts in the state, has been closed and traffic halted near Khalota in Namhol (Bilaspur) due to the subsidence of the road necessitating repair work. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has closed this stretch to all types of vehicles, both small and large, an official spokesman said in a statement here today.
