Haryana tightens security ahead of three-day power employees' strike

Panchkula, Oct 22 (UNI) District administrations in Haryana have stepped up security and put emergency arrangements in place to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the three-day statewide strike called by the Haryana Electricity Employees and Engineers Joint Struggle Forum from October 22 to 24. In Mahendragarh, District Magistrate Anupama Anjali has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to prevent disruption of power supply, damage to electricity infrastructure and obstruction of officials and employees on duty.
