Haryana orders tighter security, CCTV surveillance at temples during Navratri

Jhajjar, Oct 11(UNI) The Jhajjar district administration has ordered enhanced security, CCTV surveillance and tighter crowd-control measures at temples and religious venues during the nine-day Sharadiya Navratri festival to prevent stampedes and ensure devotees' safety. Deputy Commissioner Varsha Khangwal said the administration is on high alert for the festival, being observed from October 11 to 19, with special attention to major temples, religious sites, fairs and night-long devotional programmes.
