Haryana's Census population count likely from January 2027; residents to answer 40 questions

Panchkula, Nov 4 (UNI) Haryana's second phase of the Census is likely to begin in January 2027, with enumerators expected to ask residents around 40 questions as part of a comprehensive population count, Director of Census Operations and Citizens Registration Dr Lalit Jain said on Wednesday. Chairing a review meeting at the Mini Secretariat in Panchkula, Jain directed district authorities to deploy adequate enumerators and supervisors to ensure accurate data collection and timely completion of the exercise.
