Rain, thunderstorms to lash Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh; gusts may touch 60 kmph: IMD

Panchkula, Oct 6 (UNI) Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are set for a spell of rain and thunderstorms from Tuesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting lightning and gusty winds that could touch 60 kmph at isolated places in the region. In its All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 8.07 a.m. on October 6, the IMD said isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi from October 6 to 11.
