NCERT opens enrolment for 40-week online science teaching programme for grades 6-8

Panchkula, Oct 6 (UNI) The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced a 40-week online programme, "Teaching of Science at Middle Stage (Grades 6-8)," designed to enhance the professional skills of pre-service and in-service science teachers nationwide. According to the NCERT course document for 2026-27, enrolment is open until November 12. The course will begin on November 16, 2026, and is tentatively scheduled to conclude on August 31, 2027.
