Railways to launch three cleanliness drives from Thursday; e-waste, pending matters and public spaces in focus

Panchkula, Sept 16 (UNI) Indian Railways will roll out three major cleanliness and related campaigns between September 17 and October 31, targeting public spaces, identified cleanliness units, waste management and pending official matters, with a special push this year for the collection, segregation and disposal of e-waste. Railway Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Satish Kumar, in a communication to general managers of all zonal railways and production units, has sought their personal involvement in monitoring and leading the campaigns.
