Eggs, tomatoes hurled at BJP leader Ravneet Bittu's convoy in Punjab; he blames AAP

Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) BJP leader and former union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu said on Friday that his convoy was attacked with eggs, tomatoes and other objects near Batala while he was travelling to Pathankot to join the party's statewide anti-drug campaign, an allegation denied by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The incident took place at Ghasitpura village, about eight km from Batala on the Amritsar-Pathankot highway, shortly before the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Party's "Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra".
