Special status remains close to people's hearts; struggle for its restoration to continue: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Sep 30 (UNI) National Conference President and veteran politician Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said special status remains extremely close to the hearts of people of J&K and can never be erased from their minds. In a statement, Abdullah said that the struggle for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood had become imperative, as the Centre was not demonstrating the sincerity and seriousness required to restore statehood.
