J&K LG orders major police reshuffle, transfers 100 officers

Srinagar, Oct 9 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor on late Friday ordered a major reshuffle in the police administration, transferring and posting 100 IPS and JKPS officers. Among the key changes, IPS officer Danesh Rana has been posted as Managing Director of the J&K Police Housing Corporation, relieving S.J.M. Gillani of the additional charge. Garib Dass has been posted as Director of Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, while Abdul Jabbar has been posted to the IG Armed Police in Jammu.
