Himachal CM announces Rs 1,000 monthly pocket money for beneficiaries aged 19-27 under Sukh Shiksha scheme

Shimla, September 21 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday announced that beneficiaries aged 19 to 27 years covered under the Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana would also be provided Rs 1,000 monthly pocket money, extending financial support currently available to eligible children up to 18 years of age.Chairing a meeting of the Women and Child Development Department, Sukhu directed officials to ensure that benefits under all welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries and instructed them to develop an integrated portal for all departmental schemes to facilitate seamless access to government assistance.
