Himachal: Mega multispeciality medical camp in Anni draws 1,600 patients, 4,000 consultations

Shimla, September 28 (UNI)A mega multi-speciality free medical camp in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district saw participation of around 4,000 specialist consultations, with nearly 1,600 patients registering for treatment and medical advice on Sunday. The camp was organised by the Himalayan Health Environment and Social Welfare Society (HHESWS) at Himalayan Model Senior Secondary School in Anni. The organisers said the large turnout reflected the demand for specialised healthcare services in the remote area. Chief Medical Officer, Kullu, Dr Ranjit Thakur inaugurated the camp, while BMO Anni Dr Bhagwat Mehta provided support and guidance. SDM Anni Laxman Kanet attended the concluding programme.…
