Chief Justice of India inaugurates Ladakh bench of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh at Leh

Srinagar, Oct 18 (UNI) Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant on Sunday inaugurated the newly established Ladakh Bench of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh at Melongthang in Leh, marking a significant milestone in bringing justice closer to the people of the union Territory. The establishment of the Bench is aimed at reducing the hardships, travel time and expenditure faced by litigants, particularly those residing in remote and far-flung areas of Ladakh, who otherwise have to travel to Srinagar or Jammu for judicial proceedings.
