No negligence in patient care will be tolerated, says Haryana official

Ambala, Oct 11 (UNI) Haryana Additional Chief Secretary Dr Sumita Misra has warned that negligence in patient care, poor sanitation and inadequate supervision of diagnostic services will not be tolerated, directing health officials to strengthen accountability and introduce QR code-based registration to spare patients unnecessary delays at government hospitals. During a surprise inspection of Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment, on Sunday, Dr Misra, who holds charge of the Health, AYUSH and Revenue departments, reviewed emergency services, patient registration, medicine availability, staffing, cleanliness and diagnostic facilities.
