Timely Eye Screening Can Save Vision of Diabetic Patients: Experts

Kangra, Sep 20 (UNI) Timely screening and early detection of diabetic retinopathy can significantly improve the chances of preserving vision, experts said at a CME programme organised by SM Eye Hospital here. Chief Medical Officer Kangra, Padma Shri Dr Umesh Bharti, who was the chief guest, said diabetes affects multiple organs and called for better coordination among medical specialists to prevent its complications.
