Panchkula to launch district-wide financial inclusion drive from October 21

Panchkula, Oct 17 (UNI) The Panchkula district administration will launch a financial inclusion saturation campaign from October 21, organising special camps across all gram panchayats and urban local body areas to expand banking services, enrol eligible residents in central welfare schemes and update Know Your Customer (KYC) records. Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma, chairing a meeting of bankers and district officials on Saturday, directed banks to coordinate with government departments to ensure comprehensive coverage under the campaign, being conducted on the instructions of the union Ministry of Finance.
