Sharadiya Navratri rituals begin with installation of Kalash at Kashi Vishwanath Dham

Varanasi, Oct 11 (UNI) The first day of Sharadiya Navratri, the worship of Goddess Bhagwati began with the ritual installation of the Kalash at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham here on Sunday. Religious rituals were performed in accordance with Vedic traditions, and prayers were offered for happiness, prosperity, peace, and public welfare. On the occasion of Navratri, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust offered ornamental materials to the Navdurga temples dedicated to the presiding deity of Kashi, Maa Vishalakshi, and the nine forms of Maa Durga.
