Tripura CM claims 9pc drop in road accidents

Agartala, Oct 11 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha claimed a 9 per cent drop in road accidents and a 15 per cent decrease in fatal crashes, crediting these improvements to enhanced road safety initiatives and collaborative efforts of various government sectors. He said that road safety cannot solely rely on legislation or tougher traffic enforcement.
