Maruti Suzuki goes green at core; first hydrogen plant operational in Manesar

Panchkula, Sep 24 (UNI) Maruti Suzuki India Limited has commissioned its first 300 kW green hydrogen electrolyser plant at its Manesar facility in Haryana, marking a significant step in the automaker's push towards cleaner manufacturing energy. Launched as a pilot project, the plant will produce green hydrogen to be blended with natural gas for powering the company's manufacturing operations. The initiative is designed to harness surplus solar energy generated at the Manesar plant, particularly during holidays when the power would otherwise go unused.
