Haryana: Bahadurgarh, Jind record NCR's worst air quality; Delhi, Gurugram remain in moderate category

Panchkula, Oct 8 (UNI) Haryana's Bahadurgarh and Jind recorded the worst air quality among 33 cities and towns covered by the National Capital Region (NCR) air quality bulletin on Thursday, with Air Quality Index (AQI) readings of 290 and 253, respectively, placing both towns in the 'poor' category. According to the October 8 bulletin, issued at 4 pm, Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district recorded the highest pollution level among the monitored locations, with its AQI just 11 points below the threshold for the 'very poor' category.
