Rajasthan: 12 candidates file nominations for mayoral / chairpersons polls in 4 municipal bodies

Jaipur, Sep 19 (UNI) As many as 12 candidates today entered the fray for election of mayors in municipal corporations of Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota and chairperson in Suket Municipality of Kota district in Rajasthan Civic Bodies polls 2026. As maximum of 4 contestants - Sunil Kothari of BJP, Sunita Gupta Mawar, Dashrath Atal and Sunita Methi(All 3 Congress) have filed nominations for mayoral post in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. While multi-term corporator Mawar filed papers as the Congress official nominee, 2 others - Atal and Methi submitted nominations as the covering candidates.
