Uttarakhand: Govt to stop its aided private colleges from recruiting assistant professor following complaints of massive bribe demands

Dehradun, Sep 22 (UNI) State Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said on Tuesday that a proposal is on the anvil to hand over responsibility for recruitment of teachers in government-aided private colleges to the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). The move comes in the wake of repeated complaints of nepotism and bribes against government aided private colleges in recruiting teaching faculties. Government will soon ban recruitment of assistant professors by its aided college management committees and bestow the responsibility on UKPSC.
