UP govt approves Rs 300 crore for smart classrooms in council primary schools

Lucknow, Sep 19 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has approved Rs 300 crore for converting primary schools under the Basic Education Council into "smart schools", with financial and administrative approval also granted for the project. The government has also prescribed technical specifications for setting up smart classrooms in the schools. The details were contained in an order issued by Special Secretary, Basic Education Section-5, Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari, to the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha.
