UP govt allocates Rs 698.27 crore for children's education under RTE

Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government is making continuous efforts to ensure that eligible children receive educational opportunities under the Right to Education (RTE) Act and receive financial support to continue their education. According to the latest report for the 2026-27 academic year, a total of Rs698.27 crore has been allocated for fee reimbursement and financial assistance under the RTE scheme. As enrolment under the scheme continues to increase, the state government has also assessed the financial requirements for the coming academic year.
