25 BTC colleges have applied for withdrawal of recognition in UP

Lucknow, Sep 22 (UNI) There used to be a fierce competition for admissions to D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), also known as BTC (Basic Training Certificate) in Uttar Pradesh, and this led to the opening of numerous private colleges in the state. But now, the situation has reached a point where colleges are facing closure due to a lack of students. Around 25 colleges in the state have applied for withdrawal of recognition.
