Haryana plans steel silo on 100 acres along Ambala-Shahbad belt; Rs 290.73 crore push to expand, upgrade grain storage

Panchkula, Sep 18 (UNI) Haryana is planning a steel silo complex on a 100-acre site along the Ambala-Shahbad belt to strengthen grain storage facilities for farmers, while another silo project is under construction in Yamunanagar, Bureau of Public Enterprises Chairman Mohan Lal Kaushik said on Friday. Reviewing the progress of the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation, Kaushik said the Ambala-Shahbad proposal had been prepared and would be taken up for implementation shortly.
