UP tightens noose on criminals, 'Special 32' to handle crime scene management

Lucknow, Sep 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh is now preparing for a more stringent crackdown on criminals. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, efforts have been initiated to sharpen the government's zero tolerance policy with scientific investigation. "Special 32 officers" are being prepared to preserve evidence left at crime scenes and conduct investigations scientifically. After 40 days of training for 100 officers each in six batches, these 32 selected officers are now receiving master training in forensic science and crime scene management.
