UP: Marriage of 12-yr-old girl & 17 yr-old boy averted in Jaunpur

Jaunpur, Oct 28 (UNI) A wedding between a 12-year-old girl from the Musahar community and a 17-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district on Tuesday evening was stopped at the last minute by authorities after receiving information from Aastha Mahila Evam Bal Vikas Sanstha, a partner organisation of Just Rights for Children (JRC), India's largest NGO network working for child protection.
