Rajasthan: Additional SP & middleman arrested in Rs 2 crore bribe case

Jaipur, Sep 27 (UNI) A Rajasthan Police Additional Superintendent was arrested in Udaipur on Sunday following the trapping of a middleman in Rs 2 crore bribe case last night. The middleman, Sajjan Singh Jain, was allegedly accepting the bribe, perhaps the highest value-wise so far, on behalf of the police officer. A Rajasthan State Anti-corruption Bureau spokesman said here that Sajjan Singh was trapped by a team led by Dy Superintendent Sonu Shekhawat while accepting the bribe for the Additional Superintendent Mukesh Soni in Udaipur last night.
