Lucknow court awards 10 years imprisonment to sacked policeman for killing Apple area Manager in 2018

Lucknow, Sep 21 (UNI) A local court today sentenced sacked police constable Prashant Choudhary to 10 years in prison for the 2018 murder of Apple area sales manager Vivek Tiwari. On September 17, the Lucknow District and Sessions Court judge Malkhan Singh convicted Choudhary of culpable homicide. The other accused, constable Sandeep Kumar, was acquitted due to lack of evidence. Vivek Tiwari's wife, Kalpana Tiwari, and his brother-in-law were not present in court on Monday when the sentence was announced.
