Rs 2-crore job scam syndicate busted in Budgam; lawyer among 2 arrested

Srinagar, Oct 5 (UNI) Police have unearthed an alleged multi-district fraud syndicate operating since 2019 that promised government jobs, subsidies and foreign university admissions to victims in Jammu and Kashmir and allegedly duped them of more than Rs 2 crore. SSP Budgam Hariprasad K.K said two persons including an advocate had so far been arrested while the involvement of several others was being investigated.
