Haryana: Driver held for transferring Rs 15.64 lakh from employer's bank accounts

Panchkula, Sep 23 (UNI) A driver has been apprehended for allegedly misusing his employer's bank cards and documents to fraudulently transfer Rs 15.64 lakh into his own account, a police official said on Wednesday. The accused, identified as Sachin, a resident of Sector 9-11, Hisar, was arrested by the Urban Estate police in connection with a case registered under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to the Haryana Police official, the complainant, Gulshan Kumar Singla, a property dealer from Sector 9-11, had employed Sachin as a driver for a considerable period.
