Sixth accused arrested in Rs 12.22 lakh Telegram investment fraud in Haryana

Sirsa, Oct 11 (UNI) Sixth accused have been arrested from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh in connection with a Rs 12.22 lakh cyber fraud, in which a Sirsa resident was allegedly lured into investing in the stock market through Telegram with promises of unusually high returns, police said. The accused, identified as Prashant Kumar, a resident of Nandgram in Ghaziabad, was produced before a court and subsequently sent to judicial custody. Five other accused had already been arrested in the case.
