Haryana anti-corruption bureau chargesheet child welfare panel member in Rs 42,000 bribery case

Faridabad, Oct 13 (UNI) The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) has filed a chargesheet against Vikram Vashisht, a member of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in Palwal, for allegedly demanding Rs 42,000 to facilitate the release of a young woman from a children's home. The chargesheet was submitted before District and Sessions Judge Raj Gupta in Palwal under Section 7 and Section 13(1)(b), read with Section 13(2), of the Prevention of Corruption Act, the bureau said.
