Haryana ACB maps corruption hotspots, puts 190 officials under scanner; 138 traps in 2026

Panchkula, Sep 18 (UNI) Haryana's State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) is mapping corruption hotspots across government departments, offices and districts and scrutinising 190 officials and employees facing repeated corruption-related complaints or inputs, after carrying out 138 successful traps so far in 2026 - roughly one trap every second working day, excluding government holidays. In another significant move, the Bureau has asked government departments to ensure that officials and employees caught red-handed accepting bribes are not subsequently posted back in the same district, SV&ACB chief Dr Arshinder Singh Chawla said on Friday.
