Woman with hearing and speech disabilities drugged, raped on job pretext in Gurugram

Gurugram, Oct 8 (UNI) A 29-year-old man was arrested in Gurugram on Thursday on the charge of drugging and raping a woman with hearing and speech disabilities after luring her from Lucknow with a promise of employment, police said. According to police, the accused, identified as Adnan Khan, hailing from Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly mixed an intoxicant into a cold drink before sexually assaulting the woman at his accommodation in Gurugram on February 14, 2026.
