ED searches Punjab IAS officer's home in probe into GMADA financial irregularities

Chandigarh, Sep 23 (UNI) India's financial crime agency searched the home of a senior Punjab bureaucrat and examined records at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) as part of a money-laundering investigation into alleged financial concessions to private developers, officials said. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) began searches and surveys on Tuesday at premises across Delhi, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and Ludhiana linked to Tirupati Infraprojects Pvt Ltd, associated companies and individuals, with the operation continuing at some locations on Wednesday.
