Lucknow's Naval Museum to get water attractions, ship replicas to boost tourism

Lucknow, Oct 9 (UNI) Naval ship replicas, boating and an immersive journey through India's maritime history are set to widen Lucknow's appeal for families and young travellers. The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Friday cleared land for a water body adjoining the Nausena Shaurya Museum and approved arrangements for operating the complex, advancing the state's effort to make learning part of the tourism experience. The decision provides nearly 6.8 acres for the project's third phase. Lucknow Development Authority will transfer the adjoining land to the Tourism Department for a token payment of Rs 1 lakh, enabling the development of water attractions…
