Chhattisgarh receives national recognition for providing affordable housing to EWS and LIG

Raipur, Oct 5 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has received national recognition for its approach to providing affordable housing to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) families in urban areas. The union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has recognised the state's model of reserving land for EWS and LIG housing and providing homes through the Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) model as a national best practice.
