Haryana fixes wheat seed rate at Rs 1,080 per 40-kg bag after Rs 1,695/quintal subsidy

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) Haryana has fixed the subsidised sale price of certified wheat seed at Rs 1,080 for a 40-kg bag for the Rabi 2026-27 season, providing farmers a subsidy of Rs 1,695 per quintal, according to an order issued by the state Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department. The department has fixed the full sale rate at Rs 4,395 per quintal. After deducting the Rs 1,695 subsidy, eligible Haryana farmers will pay Rs 2,700 per quintal, translating into Rs 1,080 for a 40-kg bag.
