More than 65 lakh inheritance mutations recorded online in UP

Lucknow, Oct 19 (UNI) The Yogi Adityanath government has taken significant steps to modernise the Revenue Department's functioning in Uttar Pradesh and make land-related records more transparent. Digitisation of 100 per cent of available land maps and detailed land maps is complete, while 98 per cent of land maps have been linked to Khatauni records. The process of recording the names of legal heirs in revenue records after a landowner's death has also moved online.
